Join us for a stargazing session focusing on Jupiter and Saturn with local amateur astronomer, Phillip Virden. We ask that anyone coming to these sessions, dim their car lights when approaching the stargazing site. We recommend you dress warmly and bring something to sit on. If you have, bring your telescope and/or binoculars!

Lake City has extraordinary nighttime skies enabling all residents and visitors the opportunity to view the wonders of the universe. 80% of the North American population cannot witness the Milky Way galaxy. In Lake City, we can see our “home galaxy” on a regular basis. Come see the stars in Lake City, Colorado!
